Suspected terrorists shot by National Police in Bali: situation safe, no negative travel advice

Denpasar, Wednesday 21 March. As you might have read in the media officers from the National Police shot five suspected terrorists in Denpasar, Bali, on Sunday.

According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there is no negative travel advice from the Dutch government. Also there aren't any warnings issued from the Indonesian police department and there are no indications of terrorist threats in special places that students could avoid.  

The safety of our students is our highest priority and we will keep monitoring the situation closely. We are in close contact with both the Dutch and the local authorities and we will update you if the situation changes.
