Graduation Ceremonies

In just a short time you lose the title students of Stenden University Qatar but rather gain a more illustrious title: Graduates of Stenden University Qatar.


Having achieved this title means that each one of you spent a period of time, in this case 4 years, devoting all your time and energy to reaching this goal and as you receive your degree on the graduation night, this means that you were successful in this goal.


On this night you will receive your Bachelor’s degree but it is not the end, it is just the beginning, Confucius says, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step!” Consider this step one and you have 999 to go, but if you step out each time the way you have in this first important step your destination will be reached.


Graduation night is always a special event for the University as it gives us the opportunity to share in your achievement and also proudly send you out into the ‘real world’ knowing that what we have taught you and what you have learned, will not only bring you success but also for the University.


You first set foot on this campus and study for four years then you leave, so I leave you with this quote from Nelson Mandela: “There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have changed”.
