On Friday, 23 April 2010, the Leeuwarden Institute of International Hospitality Management, now known as the Stenden university Institute of International Hospitality Management, will hold its first Alumni Event 2010 in Stadion Galgenwaard in Utrecht.
All alumni
The event is being held for all the alumni of this programme: from the very first intake, in 1987, up to and including the graduates of 2009. You will be addressed by speakers, such as Winand Grooten and Mart Smeets, and you will be able to enjoy a buffet, live music performed by the university bands, and a generally festive evening. The event was initiated by Stenden university in close collaboration with former students from the programme’s Alumni Association.
Networking
A number of networks have been set up over the years on various social media platforms, including Hyves and LinkedIn, as well as on Stenden university’s new digital Alumni Network.
The Alumni Event 2010 is being organised to consolidate the Alumni Network and also to give it a somewhat more personal feel. It will also be the first edition of an annually recurring event for all alumni of the Institute of International Hospitality Management.
