International Business and Management Studies
The bachelor programme International Business and Management Studies in Leeuwarden is a full time study which teaches you to become a manager in any kind of international company. The choice for this programme is save, since well trained manager in this field are always welcome at any kind of international company.
Specialism
In addition to the programme which trains you to become an all-round manager, you are also able to specisalise in one of the three topics:
- Business to Business
- Retail (& Small) Business
- Food & Agribusiness
Each of these specializations is offered at a different university in Leeuwarden. The main part of your study takes place at Stenden university.
Together with the two other universities, we make this study to offer you the best of the universities in Leeuwarden.
The course
The course is modular with a thematic-interdisciplinary approach. The educational system Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaches you to work independently and on your own level of knowledge. The core subjects are not offered in integrated themes of the modules. Apart from the thematic approach, great attention is paid to the practical training by taking an extensive work placement in a company in the fourth year.
If you choose to study IBMS you can expect to become part of a young, dynamic international student community. You will have your own personal study coach and the facilities to make your study more comfortable.
The diploma Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Management Studies gives you direct access to all kinds of management jobs worldwide, and also directly to enter one of our master programmes.
