Study Expenses

In your Letter of Acceptance you will find the exact amounts that have to be paid for tuition fees and other required study expenses. The information presented below is solely intended to give you a general idea of the approximate expenses related to tuition, fieldwork and other cost for an academic year. International students are advised to bring an amount of cash of at least € 1.100 to € 1.350 for their first 2 month's expenses.

The following table shows the approximate total costs for a full academic year.

Refund Policy

• Cancellation before Stenden has applied for your visa entitles you, the applicant, to a refund of full payment
• Cancellation after Stenden has applied for your visa entitles you, the applicant, to a refund of full payment minus the administrative costs (which is € 750)
• Students withdrawing from BA- or MA programmes during week one or later are subject to the same refund policy as applicable to Dutch students with regard to refunding tuition fee. Administrative costs are non-refundable. Insurance will be refunded according insurance utilized. Refunding accommodation is at the discretion of the housing company.
• To all refunding the Stenden constitution applies.
