Long term students tuition fee
The Dutch government wants to increase the success rate of students in higher education. Therefore students are encouraged to graduate from their studies within 6 years after starting. For the 6th year of your study programme, (this also counts for your second bachelor study) the long term tuition fee act counts for you and you will have to pay the statutory tuition fee, which is in most cases higher.
This measure counts for every Higher Education institution.
Other study expenses
Expenses for excursions or study books, field trips and other specific programme related costs are excluded from this overview.
Besides study expenses, we would recommend you to reserve some money for living expenses as well.
Possible ways for income
In order to manage your finances, you can see if you can apply for a grant for studying abroad or find a job during your studies.
