The Preparatory English Language Course is designed to equip you with the required English language skills to start your Bachelor or Master Study programme.
Stenden University is the official Cambridge examination centre for the northern part of the Netherlands.
Depending on your level of English upon start of the programme, the course will take 18 weeks (one semester) or 36 weeks (two semesters).
The Preparatory English Language Course enables you to:
Raise the level of your English skills to an academic level of IELTS 6.0 (Bachelor programme) or IELTS 6.0 (Master programme)
NOTE: the required Master IELTS level will increase to IELTS 6.5 per academic year 2014/2015
Start in September or in February;
Improve your professional and personal communication skills;
Become familiair with Dutch culture and language;
Get to know your classmates before you start your bachelor study programme;
Learn during the course about the educational system of Stenden: Problem Based Learning.
