Bachelor
A Bachelor degree is an undergraduate academic degree, which is awarded upon completion of a course or major of at least three years. In 2004 the Dutch degree system was changed to abide to international standards. Former degrees (baccalaureus, doctorandus, ingenieuw and doctor) are still granted along with the international equivalents. Master
A Master degree is a postgraduate academic degree, which is awarded after the completion of at least one year of prescribed study beyond the Bachelor degree.

NON European students can apply for a room at Short Stay Solutions.
10. Question: How to apply for a work permit?
Answer:
Non European students are allowed to work 10 hours per week or 40 hours during the 3 months of summer. The employer needs to apply for the work permit.
European students are allowed to work here without residence permit and work permit, except Bulgarian and Romanian students. They have to make an appointment with the IND to register and ally for for a work permit.
