A group of Event Management students at Stenden Qatar organised a ‘Summer Fun Day’ yesterday for special needs children from the Sunbeam Centre for Excellence.
The event, at Ramada Plaza, was attended by students, as well as their siblings and parents. Activities including a magic show, talent show, musical games, cartoon characters and a clown show kept the children entertained. There was also a raffle draw featuring a large selection of prizes.
The kids were given gift bags which included story books, colouring books, crayons, colour pencils, sketch pens and a t-shirt. Gold sponsors of the event were Mannai Corporation, while silver sponsors included Fifty One East, Al Hayat Medical Centre and Solmateq, as well as additional sponsors Stenden university Qatar and Exblowra.
