Adaptions and support

A disability does not necessarily lead to problems in your studies. But if is does then tailor – made solutions must be found. This is done because, for instance, a disability such as dyslexia requires a different solution for different people.

A meeting between you, the study coach co-ordinator and the contact person Disability & Study can result in agreements to adapt your programme of study. These adaptations are recorded in a contract.

The support protocol describes how the support of students with a disability is regulated at various stages, such as intake, during the studies and graduation.

The protocol of support
This protocol describes how the support of students with a disability is organised during intake, studies and graduation.

The protocol is:

  • Of the support of Stenden students with a disability or impairment.
  • From the very beginning (Open Days, etc.) till the moment the student leaves (either with or without a diploma)
  • For coaches of students with a disability
  • The objective being to reduce any study delays as much as possible
  • Divided in a general part and a separate protocol on regulations on tests for students with dyslexia/dyscalculia
