Disability & Study
Disability is the collective term for chronic illness, physical disabilities, psychological complaints, dyslexia and dyscalculia.
It is of most importance to Stenden university that all students can pursue their education well, also the students with a disability. In many cases adjustments to the study programme are negotiable. Unfortunately not everything is realizable and solvable, but Stenden university does promise to do whatever they can to make the study a success.
Disabilities don’t always lead to study obstructions. In case it does lead to study obstruction, solutions must be found in goods made to measure. This is because every handicap asks for a different solution for each individual.
Meetings between you, the coordinator of study coaching and the contact person Handicap and Study can lead to agreements about adjustments to your study programme. These agreements will be documented in a study contract.
